IT Manager

Managing and overseeing information technology and computer systems Planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations Supervising IT staff through recruitment, training, and coaching, as well as communicating job expectations and performance evaluations Designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems Aligning user needs and system functionality with organizational policies Identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in a timely manner Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime and minimize maintenance costs Implementing plans to ensure the company’s network remains operational during issues Staying current with new network technology and reporting updates to the executive team quarterly Collaborating closely with other department managers to assess the company’s network growth and maintenance needs Auditing systems and evaluating their outcomes Preserving assets, information security, and control structures Managing the annual budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in addressing a wide array of hardware and software issues. They should be adept at providing technology solutions to employees and collaborating with third-party software companies to adopt new technologies and optimize existing ones. Prior experience in information technology and a solid understanding of current technology trends are essential to ensure the company’s technology remains up-to-date., * Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
