Municipal ERP Needs Assessment Consultant

Demonstrated experience conducting ERP needs assessments for municipalities or local government agencies

Experience with smaller municipal ERP systems (not Oracle, SAP, Workday, or other large enterprise ERP platforms)

Experience facilitating executive and stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering

Ability to analyze current-state business processes and define future-state requirements

Strong written communication, documentation, and presentation skills Experience producing assessment reports, recommendations, and executive deliverables

Ability to work independently while coordinating with client leadership and project teams

Preferred Qualifications

Wastewater, water, or municipal utility operations experience

Previous consulting experience leading ERP assessments, modernization strategies, or vendor selection engagements

Experience developing procurement strategies, RFPs, or supporting ERP vendor evaluations and selections

Familiarity with municipal finance, HR/payroll, utility billing, permitting, work order management, asset management, and customer service functions

Experience supporting ERP implementation planning or roadmap development
