Technical Support Engineer

Odoo is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to deliver high-quality technical solutions and support for our SMB customers across North America. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges while serving as a trusted advisor to customers and partners., * Own and resolve customer-reported support tickets and bugs for Odoo products

• Investigate technical issues by identifying root causes, symptoms, and scope
• Propose and implement short-term fixes and long-term solutions
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to resolve complex challenges
• Act as a technical advisor to customers and partners
• Communicate product functionality and value to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Support SaaS, PaaS, and self-hosted Odoo environments
• Develop and troubleshoot solutions using Bash, Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL
• Document solutions and contribute to shared knowledge bases
• Continuously improve processes to enhance customer experience

We’re looking for a problem solver with strong programming fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value. This role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of industries, technologies, and real-world business processes., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience with Bash, Python, JavaScript, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Portuguese fluency (professional or native/bilingual)
• Understanding of ERP systems (CRM, Accounting, Inventory, POS)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams

Nice to Have

• 1-3 years of professional experience (technical support preferred)
• Experience with Odoo or other ERP platforms
• Background in SaaS or startup environments
• Experience working with Unix/Linux systems
• Additional languages: Spanish, French, or Portuguese

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $85,000-$105,000. Actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
