Job description
- Design, deploy, administer, and support enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Citrix components including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, Citrix Gateway, and Virtual Delivery Agents (VDAs).
- Administer and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
- Manage Citrix image creation, provisioning, machine catalogs, and delivery groups using Machine Creation Services (MCS) or Provisioning Services (PVS).
- Configure and troubleshoot Citrix Profile Management (UPM), FSLogix, Group Policies, and roaming user profiles.
- Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of Citrix infrastructure.
- Administer Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and certificate services.
- Support virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Configure and maintain Citrix Gateway, SSL certificates, authentication policies, and secure remote access.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues involving Windows, Citrix, networking, storage, and virtualization.
- Implement automation using PowerShell for system administration, monitoring, and operational tasks.
- Monitor infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring tools and proactively resolve performance issues.
- Collaborate with networking, security, cloud, and application teams to ensure highly available infrastructure services.
- Support patch management, operating system upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and disaster recovery activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
- Participate in on-call support and production incident management as required.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer with deep expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Windows Server administration, and enterprise infrastructure support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, administering, and troubleshooting Citrix environments in large enterprise settings. This role requires strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, virtualization, Active Directory, and enterprise security while working closely with infrastructure, networking, and application teams., * Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows Server environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
- Strong experience with:
- Citrix Delivery Controller
- Citrix StoreFront
- Citrix Director
- Citrix Gateway (NetScaler ADC)
- Citrix Studio
- Citrix Workspace
- MCS and/or PVS
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- DNS/DHCP
- PowerShell scripting
- VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V
- FSLogix
- Citrix Profile Management
- Experience with enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and storage. *
