Director - Cyber Security/Engineering

Insight Global is seeking a Director within Cyber Security and Engineering to join one of their top supply chain and distribution clients in the Temple, TX area (Austin location also okay, hybrid 3 days onsite). This individual will be joining the Cyber organization, responsible for owning and scaling the enterprise-wide cyber defense program across IT and Operational Technology (OT). You’ll aim to modernize security capabilities, embed secure architecture, and strengthen detection and response across a highly distributed, mission-critical environment. While OT will be a big component of this role, we are open for candidates coming from any background within Cyber, as long as there is willingness to learn. Because these efforts are also part of a larger IT transformation, we are seeking folks who have led large scale transformations, migrations or modernization efforts in the past, at scalable companies. 50% of the role will be focused here, with 50% dedicated to people management

across onshore and offshore teams. Communication and ability to work cross functionally with IT and non-IT teams will also be key., 10+ years experience within cyber security (can be within cloud sec, sec devops, IAM, defense, risk etc.) -Proven track record of designing and implementing cyber strategies and transformations -People management experience (plus if they’ve managed offshore teams as well) -Bachelors Degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Masters Degree -Certifications: CISSP/CISM/CCSP -Perficient within IoT/OT architecture, design and concepts
