Structured Cabling & Network Installation Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Structured Cabling & Network Installation Engineer to join our growing team. The role involves working on a variety of commercial projects across the UK and Republic of Ireland, installing and maintaining structured cabling, and network infrastructure.

No two days are the same, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a high-quality installation and is happy to work away from home when required.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining structured cabling systems and network infrastructure across various client sites. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance of telecommunication and data networks, supporting our clients’ operational success.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure structured cabling systems for voice, data and telecommunication networks using industry standards
• Set up and troubleshoot network equipment including WAP’s, CCTV and VoIP solutions
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and industry best practices
• Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver projects on time while maintaining high quality standards

• Experience installing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A structured cabling.
• Experience installing cable containment (tray, basket, trunking and conduit).
• Clean UK driving licence.
• IPAF qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Willingness to travel and work away nationwide throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

• Fibre optic splicing and testing experience.
• Experience installing and commissioning Wireless Networks and CCTV systems
• Experience with network cabinet installations, patching and testing
