Job DescriptionData Centre Cabling Engineer required for a long-term project based in Newport.We are seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers with previous data centre, critical infrastructure, or large-scale commercial installation experience. The role will involve the installation, termination and testing of structured cabling systems within a live and fast-paced environment.Duties:Installation of Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cablingFibre optic installation, termination and testingInstalling containment including basket, tray and trunkingLabelling and documenting cabling infrastructureTesting and fault-finding copper and fibre cablingWorking from drawings and site plansMaintaining high standards of health and safetyRequirements:ECS/CSCS CardProven structured cabling experiencePrevious data centre or critical environment experience preferredFibre termination and testing experience advantageousIPAF beneficial but not essentialLocation: NewportDuration: Long-term contractIf interested, please apply with your CV or contact Bauhaus Recruitment for further information.TPBN1_UKTJ
