Requirements

  • Extensive experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (2016-2022).
  • Advanced T-SQL development skills (stored procedures, views, functions and query optimisation).
  • Strong SQL Server performance tuning, indexing and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with SQL Server backup, restore, disaster recovery and high availability.
  • Experience planning and delivering SQL Server upgrades and migrations.
  • Experience developing and supporting ETL solutions and data integration processes.
  • Strong understanding of relational database design and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Power BI datasets, semantic models and reporting solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent modern Microsoft data platform technologies.
  • Experience managing SQL Server security, permissions and database governance.
  • Power BI governance and deployment pipelines.
  • Microsoft Entra ID security and access management.

Experience (ideally)

  • Proven experience supporting enterprise SQL Server environments.
  • Experience delivering database migration and infrastructure modernisation projects.
  • Experience working across multiple concurrent technical workstreams.
  • Experience producing technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Power BI migration programmes.
  • Knowledge of dimensional modelling (Kimball methodology).
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.

  • Work from home, Pay is £27.36/hr + pro rata 25 days per year paid holiday (worth £3.75/hr) + NHSP pays for your Employer’s NI (worth ~ £4.62/hr) ==>£35.73/hr, Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: £29.00-£34.00 per hour
