Requirements
- Extensive experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (2016-2022).
- Advanced T-SQL development skills (stored procedures, views, functions and query optimisation).
- Strong SQL Server performance tuning, indexing and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with SQL Server backup, restore, disaster recovery and high availability.
- Experience planning and delivering SQL Server upgrades and migrations.
- Experience developing and supporting ETL solutions and data integration processes.
- Strong understanding of relational database design and data warehousing principles.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Power BI datasets, semantic models and reporting solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent modern Microsoft data platform technologies.
- Experience managing SQL Server security, permissions and database governance.
- Power BI governance and deployment pipelines.
- Microsoft Entra ID security and access management.
Experience (ideally)
- Proven experience supporting enterprise SQL Server environments.
- Experience delivering database migration and infrastructure modernisation projects.
- Experience working across multiple concurrent technical workstreams.
- Experience producing technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Power BI migration programmes.
- Knowledge of dimensional modelling (Kimball methodology).
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.

- Work from home, Pay is £27.36/hr + pro rata 25 days per year paid holiday (worth £3.75/hr) + NHSP pays for your Employer’s NI (worth ~ £4.62/hr) ==>£35.73/hr, Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Contract length: 3-6 months
Pay: £29.00-£34.00 per hour
