Microsoft Excel Big Data Customer Data Management Pivot Tables Data Processing Data Management

Job description

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established financial services organisation for two Data Exceptions Administrators to support a large-scale data migration project.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong data administration experience who enjoys working with accuracy, spotting discrepancies and following structured processes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring customer data is transferred correctly between two case management systems, helping identify and resolve data exceptions before migration is completed.

The Role

Working as part of a dedicated project team, you’ll spend the majority of your time analysing data in Microsoft Excel, reviewing exceptions and ensuring information is accurate before being migrated into a new system.

While much of the work follows established processes, there will be occasions where you’ll need to use your own judgement to investigate discrepancies and determine the correct outcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and validating customer data as part of a large-scale system migration.
  • Identifying discrepancies and data exceptions, investigating issues and resolving them where possible.
  • Working extensively in Microsoft Excel, including using Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Following structured processes to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
  • Escalating more complex issues where appropriate.
  • Working to strict project deadlines whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience within a data administration, data quality or data processing role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, particularly VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies within large volumes of data.
  • Experience working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A logical, methodical approach with the confidence to make decisions when required.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude., This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team on a high-profile project where your attention to detail and analytical skills will make a real impact.
