Job description

Pushforward has spent 13 years developing provision for the education of young people who do not fit within a mainstream approach to learning.

We believe that every young person has the right to be an individual, to know they matter, have a voice, feel safe and confident enough to progress through the world in a way which makes them smile.

We are all rubbish at lots of things, let’s concentrate on finding the things we are great at!

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled 1st/2nd Line Engineer to support the management and maintenance of our technical infrastructure within our fast-paced educational environment. You will bring hands-on experience across 1st and 2nd line support, both onsite and office-based, a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and the confidence to work effectively with staff, sometimes students, and external partners at all levels.

You will be someone with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, charismatic, self-motivated, and willing to learn and further develop your knowledge. You will be able to communicate clearly in both technical and non-technical terms and demonstrate strong customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills are essential, as maintaining system records, updating asset inventories, managing support tickets, and ensuring the integrity of technical documentation form an important part of the role. The ability to remain organised, manage competing priorities, and adapt within a dynamic environment is also key.
