Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain features across a scalable CRM platform, spanning both frontend and backend systems.
- Build and enhance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript within a microservices architecture.
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using React and Next.js.
- Design, manage, and optimise database solutions, including relational and document-based databases.
- Create secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and support integrations with external services.
- Improve application performance, system reliability, and scalability across cloud-based environments.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams while contributing to testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and containerised deployments.
Requirements
- Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Commercial experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Knowledge of API design and microservices architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or MySQL databases.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Jest, and Cypress.
- Experience working with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, with AWS experience preferred.
- Understanding of Git and source control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK or Terraform would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with event-driven systems, distributed services, and data-driven platforms is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and maintain high standards of code quality.
