Full Stack Developer

We’re hiring a full-time 1099 contractor to be our go-to developer. You’ll build client-facing applications, internal tools, automations, and AI-powered solutions across a variety of projects.

The co-founders handle most of the client-facing scoping conversations, but we’d love your input on technical feasibility, approach, and timelines. Once a project is greenlit, you’ll take ownership of building it, and we’ll be here to support you wherever you need us. You’ll work directly with our team and be involved with client calls, to make sure what you’re building actually solves the problem.

We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable working independently and managing their own time, but who also enjoys collaborating and asking questions when it helps move things forward.

What You’ll Do

• Build full stack web applications and internal tools from scratch
• Take ownership of projects through planning, building, testing, and shipping
• Write clean, tested code that other people can pick up later
• Use AI coding tools like Claude Code and Codex to move fast without cutting corners
• Build automations and integrations, often involving APIs and platforms like n8n, Make.com, or Zapier
• Communicate clearly with our team and clients about progress, blockers, and trade-offs
• Help us figure out the right technical approach for client projects, Our stack varies by project since we’re doing client work, but most of what we build involves:
• Supabase for database, auth, and backend services
• Modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js)
• Python or Node.js for back end work and AI integrations
• LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) for AI features
• Automation platforms like n8n, Make.com, and Zapier
• Git/GitHub for version control

You should be comfortable picking up new tools as projects require it. We’re looking for someone who enjoys finding the right tool for each job rather than sticking to one stack.

Do you have experience in Unit testing?, * 3+ years of full-time professional development experience

• Strong full stack skills (front end and back end, comfortable working across the stack)
• Real experience using AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar
• Solid project management skills, you can break down a project, estimate timelines, and hit them
• A testing mindset (unit tests, integration tests)
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
• Strong written and spoken English
• Reliable internet and a setup that lets you work US business hours

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with n8n, Make.com, or other automation platforms
• Experience integrating with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Background working with small businesses or agencies
• DevOps and deployment experience (Vercel, AWS, Docker)
• Familiarity with no-code or low-code platforms

$68,000 - $96,000 a year - Full-time, * Full-time hours (around 40 hours per week)

• 1099 contractor arrangement (you handle your own taxes and benefits)
• Compensation: $68k to $95k USD per year depending on experience
• Remote work, but you need to be available during US business hours (Eastern Time preferred), * A short note about a project you owned start to finish, any accomplishments, obstacles, or things of note with the projecct

Pay: $68,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
