The Reports and Data Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s reporting and data analytics functions to support strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, underwriting, claims management, patient safety initiatives, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. This role surveys the landscape of data innovation identifying opportunities for integration of efficiencies and/or new technologies to enhance the work of the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical expertise with business acumen and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear, meaningful manner., * Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics
- Experience with health care electronic medical record data systems
- Experience within medical professional liability insurance, health care risk management, property & casualty insurance, healthcare, or financial services preferred
- Experience leading reporting projects or analytics teams preferred
- Preferred technical skills with: Microsoft Power BI; SQL Server; Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables); SSRS or similar reporting platforms; Data warehouse concepts; Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint; Risk Management and Claims management systems (e.g., Origami, Candello, RLDatix, or similar)
