Job description

The engineering team is focused on delivering mission-critical financial services software systems for a major US Bank client. The team’s purpose is to design, develop, and deploy highly scalable, cloud-native solutions that align with core business outcomes. This role focuses on shaping engineering standards, establishing architectural direction, and driving technical strategy across the group., * Architect full stack solutions using a Java/Spring backend, React/Angular frontend, and AWS cloud services.

Lead design sessions, technical planning, and backlog refinement for engineering tasks.
Define coding standards, secure coding practices, and application performance guidelines.
Drive CI/CD maturity, observability, and core DevOps best practices across environments.
Guide the definition of cloud-native patterns including serverless, microservices, and containerization.
Mentor junior engineers and influence critical cross-team engineering and technical decisions., * Architect full-stack solutions using a Java/Spring backend, React/Angular frontend, and AWS cloud services.
Lead technical planning, design sessions, and backlog refinements for engineering tasks.
Define and implement robust coding standards, secure coding practices, and performance guidelines.
Drive CI/CD maturity, observability, automation, and DevOps best practices across teams.

Requirements

Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices Architecture (10+ years)
React or Angular Frontend Frameworks (5+ years)
AWS Expert Level Proficiency - EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM (5+ years)

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS

Advanced system design, distributed systems, and integration architecture
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
High-scale event streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis)
Observability stacks (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana), The ideal candidate is a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in US Financial Services or Banking domains.
