IT Director Job Opening Battle Creek Michigan

The IT Director will report directly to the President of the company at the Battle Creek site. He or she will need to spearhead to development of the company’s technology initiatives while working out of the Battle Creek site. The IT Director will be someone who constantly pushes continuous improvement, such as utilizing lean six sigma, in order to streamline the technological processes within the company. The job will be working in a very “hands-on” job with stakeholders in order to complete various objectives of the IT department out of Battle Creek, Michigan., * The IT Director will need to manage and analyze the best uses of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP and integrate solutions throughout the company.

• The job must provide strategic leadership to the entire Information Technology department.
• The position must collaborate with a variety of consulting firms in order to help support the company’s internal operations.
• The IT Director must prioritize different IT projects in order to best meet the company’s vision, goals, and longterm objectives.
• The role will be directing service level agreements in order to comply with suppliers and vendors outside of Battle Creek for this job.
• The position will work with other departments in order to figure out the IT department’s role in various company projects and objectives.
• The IT Director will perform other duties as assigned at the Battle Creek plant.

• A 4-Year Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, finance, accounting, or Computer Science is required for this job.
• At least 5 years of job experience in managing projects, integrating ERP systems, and facilitating an IT structure within a multi-site kind of environment.
• At least 6 years of job experience in ERP systems.
• Lean six sigma certification is a plus for this job.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus for this job.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft AX is essential for this job.
• Demonstrated ability to lead while on the job.
