Job description

DUTIES: Design, develop, and maintain Blue Yonder Luminate Commerce fulfillment applications, including Inventory, Availability, Sourcing, Capacity, and Order Services, supporting eCommerce and omni-channel order management with next-generation supply chain solutions. Develop and extend Blue Yonder Commerce microservices using open-source technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs, Hazelcast, Cassandra, and distributed systems frameworks. Deliver scalable, high-performance features that meet peak transaction volumes and SLAs. Deploy, configure, and support applications on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and containerized cloud-native microservices using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. Provide early identification and mitigation of technical risks and ensure end-to-end implementation of solutions from design through go-live. Collaborate with architects, product owners, offshore teams, and operations leads to translate requirements into technical architecture, detailed designs, and peak-season readiness plans. Design and implement validation, testing, and automation frameworks to support functional, end-to-end, performance, and user acceptance testing. Develop high-quality, maintainable software following clean code principles and Blue Yonder engineering standards, including secure coding and data protection. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, lead feature design, and decompose work into development and testing tasks. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure coding standards, security, and performance requirements are met. Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, resolve build failures, and support automated testing and deployments. Perform performance benchmarking, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization measures. Improve systems and processes through automation, including installation, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of fulfillment applications. Develop reusable components, best practices, technical documentation, and standardized solutions to reduce total cost of ownership. Plan and execute complex changes, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate risks, impediments, and delivery impacts. Monitor application performance, conduct root-cause analysis for incidents, and implement corrective and preventive measures. Independently resolve production issues, lead post-incident reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in Agile activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning. Mentor and onboard junior engineers, contribute to hiring processes, and support team capability development. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies in software development, cloud platforms, and distributed systems, and apply relevant innovations to ongoing and future projects.
