Job description

The Sr Technical Architect at Blue Yonder is a crucial role within our product development team, responsible for the design and architecture of scalable, robust, and high-performance solutions. This individual will work across multiple scrum teams, influencing both strategic and tactical decisions, ensuring that our technology solutions meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and innovation., * Technical Design and Architecture:

  • Lead the design and development of complex cross-product features and solutions.
  • Ensure the technical architecture aligns with business needs and strategic goals.
  • Utilize AI/ML, cloud platforms, and IoT technologies to enhance product features and performance.
  • Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to project directors and senior management.
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and development teams to resolve technical challenges and drive innovation.
  • Mentor and guide development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Risk Management and Representation:
  • Communicate potential application-related risks to senior management.
  • Represent Blue Yonder at internal and external workshops, contributing to functional or technical roadmaps., The Sr Technical Architect will work within a dynamic technical landscape that includes:
  • Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for scalable infrastructure.
  • AI and Machine Learning for predictive insights and intelligent decision-making.
  • IoT and Edge Computing for real-time data collection and analysis.
  • Modern software development practices including microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development using Java and Spring,
  • with a proven track record in designing and implementing complex systems within the supply chain or related industries.
  • Skills:
  • Should have strong implementation experience using anyone of Blue Yonder products like TMS/WMS or any other (MUST)
  • Deep technical expertise in AI/ML, cloud platforms, and IoT.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence and guide multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in various programming languages and development methodologies.
