Job description
We are looking for a qualified IT Tech Level I to join our team and provide endpoint support to our staff and customers. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting various devices such as laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones, as well as ensuring they are connected and secure on our network. - Check endpoint hardware and software components to ensure functionality and compatibility.
- Progress in the ability to learn how to troubleshoot endpoint performance and connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving endpoint-related issues.
- Follow documentation of endpoint management processes, procedures, and configurations.
- Perform upgrades and replacements of endpoints as scheduled.
- Increasing knowledge of industry trends and best practices in endpoint management.
- Troubleshoot and maintain audio video conferencing solutions such as Teams Meetings, Teams Rooms, Webex, etc.
- Ensure company policy is being followed when onboarding and retiring end point equipment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- In-depth understanding of diverse endpoint devices and operating systems.
- Play a supporting role in the vulnerability management process for identified assets.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- This position requires driving responsibilities. You must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company and insurer standards.
- This role will be required to travel up to 25% of the time.
Level I:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an IT support or technician role or relevant experience.
Level II:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support or technician role or relevant experience.
Senior:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support or technician role or relevant experience.
What Is Desired:
- General knowledge of Windows operating systems, virtual desktop technologies, mobile device management (MDM) solutions or related experience.
- Knowledge of full lifecycle management of computer hardware, mobile devices, commercial copiers, and enterprise grade audio visual integrations and interfaces.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Basic familiarity with IT security principles and practices.
- Basic OS and Third-Party Software troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of IT asset management and inventory management practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 technologies.
- Desire to provide and continually improve upon customer experience.
- Ability to learn new technologies and shift priorities., Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
