Job description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data solutions that enable commercial, marketing, and revenue growth initiatives within a consumer products and retail environment. This individual will develop and maintain complex data pipelines, integrations, and analytical data models across modern cloud-based data platforms. The role will focus on harmonizing and transforming large, diverse data sets-including syndicated market, retail, consumer, and marketing data-to deliver trusted, business-ready insights. Responsibilities include implementing data quality standards, supporting master data management initiatives, and designing scalable data structures that enable reporting, analytics, and advanced decision-making. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and data science teams to deliver reliable, production-grade data solutions that support enterprise growth and analytics objectives.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Fabric expertise
  • Advanced Data Engineering experience (PySpark, Delta Lake, advanced SQL)
  • Retail/CPG Industry data experience (Circana(IRI), IQVIA, Nielsen/NIQ, and/or POS)
  • Data Harmonization and Master Data Management (MDM) experience
  • Experience building and supporting complex data pipelines and integrations in Azure - Revenue Growth Management (RGM) experience
  • Marketing & Customer Analytics Data familiarity

Benefits & conditions

$60/hr to $65/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
