Job description

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, service-level, integration, and end-to-end testing using C# and Selenium WebDriver
Validate application behavior beyond the UI service responses, data transformations, event flows, and downstream system impacts
Assist with solutions to validate complex scenarios at a code or infrastructure level
Analyze automation failures, identify root causes, reduce test flakiness, and improve automation reliability
Investigate complex application, automation, data, integration, and environment issues using logs, metrics, traces, and telemetry
Determine root cause of issues (database, file systems, etc.) and work with Development teams to resolve them
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure results provide meaningful feedback for build/deploy/release decisions
Support release readiness activities with clear test results, risk indicators, and quality recommendations
Support planned production releases and critical off-hours deployments as needed
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; must be a quick learner
Soft skills: strong communication, presentation, documentation, and team coordination; must be flexible for urgent quality-related tasks

Requirements

Candidate with 7+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, or quality engineering
Strong hands-on programming experience in C#
Experience with Selenium WebDriver (web UI automation) and API automation (REST/SOAP)
Relevant automation experience to understand existing frameworks and scale up quickly to create/debug scripts
Experience creating new automation frameworks from scratch (web, API, service-level, and end-to-end)
Strong SQL and data validation experience across systems
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TeamCity)
Mortgage, Financial Services, Lending, or other regulated-industry domain knowledge is a plus
