Job description

Our team is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in automation, orchestration, and service discovery to help drive our next generation of infrastructure initiatives., * Design, build, and maintain Ansible-based automation frameworks to manage provisioning, configuration, and deployment across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

  • Implement and optimize Temporal workflows to orchestrate long-running processes, automate CI/CD pipelines, and standardize application lifecycle management.
  • Deploy and manage HashiCorp Consul for service discovery, health checking, and secure configuration management across microservices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and SRE teams to build self-healing, event-driven automation using Ansible playbooks and Temporal task queues.
  • Integrate Consul with service mesh and monitoring solutions to enhance observability and reliability.
  • Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code standards with Terraform and Terragrunt, ensuring consistency and traceability across environments.
  • Enforce DRY principles using configuration management and Kubernetes templating tools (Helm, Kustomize, Tanka, Jsonnet).
  • Develop reusable Ansible roles and collections to streamline environment builds and promote automation at scale.
  • Apply best practices for RBAC, secrets management (Vault), and compliance within cloud-native architectures.
  • Work cross-functionally with developers and DevOps teams to align infrastructure automation with application deployment pipelines.

Requirements

  • Ansible expertise - advanced playbook authoring, role development, and automation design for large-scale systems.
  • Temporal or Cadence workflow orchestration - design and maintain distributed workflows for CI/CD, monitoring, and automation.
  • HashiCorp Consul - hands-on experience with service discovery, configuration key/value stores, and integration into microservice frameworks.
  • Terraform / IaC - solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, Terragrunt, and multi-account management.
  • CI/CD Pipelines - experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Scripting/Development - proficiency in Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
  • Cloud Platforms - AWS (preferred), Google Cloud Platform, or Azure for containerized workloads and scalable infrastructure.
  • Linux Administration - strong command-line and system-level expertise (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • Security Tools - familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, least-privilege IAM models, and cloud security best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills across distributed teams and time zones.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading cross-functional DevOps and engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of multi-region, multi-environment architectures and best practices for fault tolerance.
  • Familiarity with GitOps principles and self-hosted CI/CD runners. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure challenges.
