Job description

Role : DevOps Infrastructure Automation Engineer Location : San Antonio,TX (Hybrid) Duration : Long term Contract 12+ months

Requirements

Qualifications: * Extensive working experience in Python, Ansible, and JavaScript programming. * Experience building APIs and services (REST, SOAP) and automating infrastructure workflows. * Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (AWS and Azure environments). * Advanced working knowledge on AWS and Azure * Familiarity with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts) and GitHub Actions. * Experience building fully automated provisioning pipelines for VMs, including post-deployment tasks (extensions, DSC, Ansible playbooks). * Familiarity with vRA/vRO server build automation and cloud-native alternatives. * Strong background in Agile methodology, continuous improvement, and iterative development. * Proficiency in Git, CI/CD tools, cloud networking basics (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers), and infrastructure security best practices. * Strong Windows OS administration and scripting skills Must Have: * Extensive experience with Python, JavaScript and Ansible. * Experience in Terraform development. * Experience in CI/CD, GitHub/Git-Repo. Nice to Have: * Strong Knowledge of developing AWS and Azure AMIs. * Very Good knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating System. Flexible work from home options available.
