Sr. Software Engineer (Backend) at Zenarate

• Architect and scale real-time voice agent infrastructure using WebSocket-based streaming, session management, and low-latency audio/event pipelines.
• Design and maintain microservices in Python (Django/Flask) that integrate with agentic frameworks and voice AI services like Deepgram or ElevenLabs.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and product teams to translate complex business requirements into robust, high-performance APIs for regulated enterprise industries.

• 5-8 years of backend engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python and frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Deep expertise in real-time communication protocols such as WebSockets, WebRTC, or gRPC streaming for high-load simulation workloads.
• Proven track record operating distributed systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
