Job description

The scope of this contract is to provide a full range of technical and management services to develop, improve, implement functionality, and provide training for the client’s M365 SharePoint sites and supporting components and Microsoft Power Platform applications., The Senior SharePoint Developer / Solution Architect will work with the project team to architect, develop and implement SharePoint solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices. The candidate will have extensive expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, Canvas Apps, and other compatible SharePoint tools and have a deep understanding of SharePoint governance processes, agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels., * Utilize extensive knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., PowerApps, PowerBI), Power Query, Canvas Apps, and other SharePoint tools to design, develop, and implement innovative SharePoint solutions.

  • Lead the development of ā€œAs Isā€ and ā€œTo Beā€ SharePoint solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
  • Analyze current SPO Sites and Power Platform applications and recommend enhancements for additional automation and user experience (e.g., redesigning SPO site for ease of use, re-architecting the Power Platform applications to improve performance and integrate for data exchange).
  • Leverage new Microsoft 365 features and out-of-box functionality while adhering to the User Experience (UX) design best practices and design guidelines to design, develop, and deploy new SPO Sites and Power Platform applications within the Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment).
  • Create Enterprise Performance Lifecyle (EPLC) technical documents for assigned projects.
  • Recommend new tools and technologies for integration with Power Platform applications to support complex business and regulatory processes.
  • Support the requirements elicitation and design/prototype sessions as directed.
  • Address and resolve user inquiries/issues logged through Help Desk.
  • Work with the client staff to communicate upcoming releases and environment upgrades through appropriate channels (e.g., IT Weekly Digest).
  • Assist with System/Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as directed by IT Project Manager.
  • Work with the IT Project Manager to provide status reports (risks/issues, deliverables, and completed and anticipated activities).
  • Support other activities as directed by IT Project Manager.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in developing SharePoint Online Sites and Microsoft Power Platform applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with .HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and Web Services.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI), and SharePoint Online architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience with integrating SharePoint Online sites and Microsoft Power Platform applications with third party applications.
  • Able to translate requirements specifications into a technical solution for implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience working on Agile projects using Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Demonstrated experience with Software Development Lifecycle and Project Management best practices.
  • Requires excellent verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multitask efficiently and effectively.
  • Able to work independently and with teams.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Work Authorization & Clearance Requirement:

  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance. Due to contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders) to be eligible.

Preferred Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in SharePoint Online Administration.
  • Previous experience working with or for Federal Agencies.

Education & Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field (Required)
  • SharePoint Online & MS Power Platform certifications (Required), College or University* Are you 18 years of age or older?*

Benefits & conditions

  • $70,000-$90,000
