Job description

We are seeking a talented Back End Developer to play a critical role in updating and preparing an existing iOS app for deployment. This app serves as a list management tool that interfaces with a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) hardware device. Your primary focus will be on backend updates, ensuring seamless BLE integration, and supporting the app’s successful launch., * Update and refine backend systems to support the iOS app pre-deployment.

  • Ensure robust BLE connectivity and interaction at the characteristic level.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers to integrate with the app’s BLE features.
  • Work with AWS and .NET services to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Support the app’s deployment and maintenance cycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues to ensure smooth performance.

Requirements

  • .NET and AWS expertise with 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience in BLE integration, particularly interfacing with Bluetooth devices at the characteristic level.
  • Experience supporting mobile app deployment through App Store/Play Store release cycles.
  • Strong understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases such as SQL Server or DynamoDB.
  • Proven ability to design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs.
  • Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.
  • Comfortable working with front-end teams and hardware engineers.
  • Ability to debug complex issues across hardware, backend, and mobile layers.
  • Amenable to work with overlap with New York timezone., * Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Datadog.
  • Prior work on apps with hardware integrations.
