Job description

  • Implement engineering principles to design, improve, or develop test stands, equipment, and test processes for specific projects.
  • Organize analytical engineering studies on proposals to develop tests for products.
  • Schedule and conduct tests of complex hydraulic and pneumatic control systems and components.
  • Analyze engineering test data to determine feasibility of product proposals.
  • Install, configure, and calibrate instrumentation used for data recording in drive testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required for this role.
  • At least 5 years test engineering experience in an aerospace or automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience operating typical mechanical and electric test equipment.
  • Working knowledge of ASTM, SAE or FMVSS testing and documentation.
  • Proven experience with SOLIDWORKS or similar CAD software.
