Job description
- Collect, organize, clean, validate, and maintain healthcare data from community health centers and other sources.
- Analyze quality, utilization, demographic, and operational data to identify trends and support performance improvement.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership, staff, partners, and grant-related initiatives.
- Design and maintain dashboards and visual reports, primarily in Power BI.
- Use SQL, Excel, and related tools to extract, transform, and manage data from multiple systems.
- Investigate data discrepancies and work with stakeholders to resolve reporting issues.
- Document reporting processes and support efforts to improve automation, standardization, and data governance.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide responsive support for data needs tied to organizational initiatives, meetings, and events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Public Health, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably in healthcare or public health.
- Experience with healthcare data, such as quality measures, UDS, or claims data, strongly preferred.
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools required.
- Familiarity with electronic health records or healthcare data systems preferred.
- Advanced Power BI skills for dashboards, reporting, and visualization.
- Strong SQL and Excel skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights
- Familiarity with Tableau, ArcGIS, or similar tools is a plus.
