Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure.

Unlike many modern environments shifting entirely to third-party cloud platforms, CFM operates a fully on-premise network. We like having direct control, visibility, and high performance across our local systems and multi-location setup.

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot our multi-site, on-premise network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs).
• Ensure maximum network uptime, performance, and security across all corporate and branch locations.
• Manage local storage systems, backup routines, disaster recovery protocols, and hardware lifecycles.

Server & Systems Management

• Oversee Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, system upgrades, and capacity planning.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex system or network issues.

Automation & Scripting

• Utilize PowerShell to automate system administration tasks, user onboarding/offboarding workflows, and routine maintenance routines.
• Build, maintain, and document custom scripts to keep systems running efficiently with minimal manual intervention.

• Hands-on On-Premise Experience: Proven experience administering and troubleshooting traditional, physical/virtualized on-premise networks and server rooms.
• Strong Networking Core: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, firewall rules, and site-to-site connectivity.
• PowerShell Proficiency: Ability to write clean, effective PowerShell scripts for task automation and systems management.
• Server Expertise: Deep understanding of Windows Server environments, Active Directory administration, and virtualization.
• Process-Driven Mindset: Excellent documentation habits and a structured approach to problem-solving, change management, and system upkeep.
• Strong Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, leadership, and external vendor partners.
