Security Console Operator

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Console Operator to oversee the safety and security of our facility through comprehensive surveillance and communication. In this dynamic role, you will monitor security systems, operate CCTV equipment, and coordinate internal and external communications to ensure a secure environment. Your keen attention to detail, quick decision-making skills, and excellent communication abilities will be vital in maintaining safety protocols and responding effectively to incidents. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a secure, well-managed environment while developing your skills in security operations., * Monitor multiple security systems including CCTV cameras, alarm panels, and access control devices to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.

• Operate CCTV systems (AV) for surveillance monitoring, ensuring clear visibility of all critical areas such as entrances, exits, and sensitive zones.
• Dispatch security personnel or emergency responders promptly during incidents or alarms, maintaining clear internal communication channels.
• Maintain detailed logs of surveillance activities, incident reports, shift notes, and communication records with precision and clarity.
• Use technical proficiency in security system operation and basic math skills to verify access credentials and process security data accurately.
• Communicate effectively via phone or radio with team members, law enforcement, or emergency services as needed during incidents or routine operations.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism by applying conflict management skills while ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security operations, or casino surveillance is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to operate CCTV systems (AV), surveillance monitoring tools, and security systems proficiently.
• Experience in dispatching or call center environments enhances responsiveness in emergency situations.
• Strong internal communication skills with the ability to write clear reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Familiarity with security system monitoring software and technical tools used in surveillance environments.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with effective phone communication for engaging with visitors or team members professionally.
• Proven conflict management skills capable of handling tense situations calmly and efficiently.
