Job description
ATL Diesel is a growing distributor and manufacturer of heavy-duty diesel engine parts with deep technical expertise and a strong reputation for quality and reliability. As we expand our marketing efforts, we are adding an Email & Social Media Specialist to own the planning, creation, and execution of our email marketing and organic social media content.
This role turns marketing strategy, product information, promotions, and business priorities into clear, well-crafted content across digital channels. You will work independently, produce accurate work within brand standards, manage multiple deadlines, and adjust quickly as priorities shift. You will also be comfortable testing new ideas and refining what works across different channels.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing. You will have day-to-day responsibility for email and social media execution while coordinating with internal teams, agency contacts, and other stakeholders to keep work accurate, on schedule, and aligned with brand standards. You should be comfortable moving work forward when direction is incomplete, using sound judgment to clarify details and adapt as new information becomes available.
Duties
- Develop, write, and schedule email marketing and organic social media content aligned to campaign priorities and business goals
- Translate product updates, promotions, and marketing direction into channel-specific copy and content assets
- Manage day-to-day execution across email and social platforms, keeping content accurate, timely, and consistent with brand standards
- Plan and run tests across channels (subject lines, formats, timing, audiences) and use the results to improve future content
- Coordinate reviews, revisions, and approvals with internal stakeholders and agency partners
- Track deadlines, maintain content calendars, and keep projects moving through the creative and review process
- Monitor channel performance, report on what’s working, and recommend changes to improve results
Requirements
- 2+ years in email marketing, social media, content marketing, or a related digital marketing role
- Hands-on experience with email platforms, social scheduling tools, and basic performance reporting
- Comfort reading campaign metrics and turning them into practical next steps
- Automotive or heavy-duty industry experience a plus
- Experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, or Google Analytics a plus
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, audience-focused content
- A test-and-learn mindset: willing to try new approaches, measure them, and adjust based on what the data shows
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and follow-through across multiple projects
- Comfort managing shifting priorities while staying aligned with established standards and review processes
- Sound judgment when working through incomplete information or ambiguity
- Clear communication throughout feedback, revision, and approval workflows
- Familiarity with content calendars, structured review processes, and brand-guideline adherence
