Security Engineer

At DXC Spain we are looking for a Security Engineer. Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as L3 technical reference within the SOC and managed security services
• Handle and resolve complex cybersecurity incidents (L3 level)
• Design, evolve and harden security architectures (on-premise and cloud)
• Participate in cybersecurity projects (deployments, migrations, improvements)

• Manage and optimize advanced security technologies, including: o EDR/XDR (e.g. SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender) o SIEM/SOAR (e.g. Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar) o Firewalls/WAF (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto) o SASE / SWG / CASB (e.g. Netskope, Zscaler)

• Support service transitions and implementation of new security capabilities
• Act as escalation point for L1/L2 teams and provide technical mentorship
• Engage with clients (workshops, troubleshooting, reporting)
• Contribute to the implementation of security solutions in client environments
• Participate in on-call rotations when required

• +7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity
• Previous experience as: L3 SOC / Senior Security Engineer, or Technical Security Architect / Consultant (hands-on)

• Strong hands-on experience across: o Design, implementation and operation of security solutions o Enterprise environments, multi-client setups or MSSP

• Solid knowledge in several of the following areas: o Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS) o Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR) o SASE / Cloud Security (Netskope, Zscaler, CASB) o Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) o Security across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments o Microsegmentation (e.g. Guardicore) o Infrastructure as Code / automation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in complex environments and manage multiple priorities

• Proactive, autonomous and team-oriented attitude
• English level B2+
