Apptio Support Engineer

• Provide support for core TBM modules, including budgeting, forecasting, and costing.
• Coordinate with internal and external third-party vendors to resolve platform and integration issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data load failures, ETL processes, mapping errors, and API-based data ingestion issues.
• Support and enhance dashboards, reports, KPI views, and help stakeholders interpret financial outputs.
• Maintain documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Known Error Database (KEDB) records.
• Monitor system health, scheduled jobs, and model performance while collaborating with platform support teams for issue resolution.
• Work closely with TBM Office, IT Finance, Cloud, Infrastructure, and ERP/Data teams to ensure accurate cost transparency.
• Maintain data governance standards and ensure proper controls and documentation for financial models., * Diagnose and resolve complex Apptio platform and application issues efficiently.
• Analyse and troubleshoot data quality, ETL, API, and integration problems.
• Support and optimise TBM financial models and reporting processes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow governance best practices.
• Prioritise multiple support activities while ensuring service quality and operational continuity.
• Communicate technical and financial insights clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

• 10+ years of experience in Apptio with strong expertise in Apptio MOT.
• Hands-on experience supporting Technology Business Management (TBM) processes.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial model management.
• Experience troubleshooting ETL failures, data integration issues, API-based ingestion, and data mapping errors.
• Expertise in dashboard development, reporting, KPI analysis, and financial data interpretation.
• Experience with system monitoring, scheduled job management, and performance optimisation.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
