Job description
You will be working in the Financial Risk department where they are focusing on topics like IFRS, FRAAI, strategic risk & Loan loss impairment. They are responsible for applications that indicate to the bank how much risk they are taking with business dealings with different customers. The team has replaced their old core system, their workflow system, to a new system/application (end to end) which was introduced in the summer last year. This application was built from scratch. They are continuously doing enhancements to this application for better user experience.
Functieomschrijving The team is working fully agile/scrum and transitioned to the DevOps way of working, which means they are end-to-end responsible. Most of your work will consist of;
- Create clean, maintainable and reusable code and run tests;
- Connecting with the clients, analyze their requirements and translating them into technical solutions;
- Lead the creation, maintenance, and scaling of an automation testing infrastructure/framework to meet the current and future demands;
- Setting up the pipeline and infrastructure to run tests;
- Making changes on the mainframe;
- Teaching others good quality and testing practices;
- Come up and share innovative ideas and possible improvements.
Requirements
- You have at least a Bachelor or Master degree;
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer;
- You have extensive experience using Spring and Springboot;
- You have experience in working in a public cloud, preferably Azure (pre);
- You are familiar with the DevOps end-to-end way of working. This means hands-on experience with planning, designing, implementing, testing, maintaining and deploying. You don’t have to be an expert in every step, but having basic knowledge and experience is a must.

Benefits & conditions
- Depending on relevant work experience and or certification, you can expect a salary between €4.500,- and €6.000,- gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek.
