Job description
I’m working with an established electronics business who design and build their own products in-house. They’re after a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to support new product development someone who can own the electronics design and grow into the go-to expert on their core technologies.
Small, fast-paced engineering team covering R&D, product development and new product introduction. You’d be leading projects, not just contributing to them.
What you’ll be doing - Senior Hardware Design Engineer
- Designing new products - circuit design, schematic capture and PCB layout
- Working closely with the wider engineering team to get products into production
- Leading internal and external project teams, including subcontractors, and dealing with customers where needed
- Researching new technologies to keep the product roadmap current
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, strong across schematic capture, PCB layout and analogue and digital circuit design.
- Confident talking to technical and non-technical people alike
- Diligent, detail-driven, and genuinely bothered about hitting milestones
