Job description

RAC have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Training Specialist to join our team supporting McLaren Automotive based in Woking.

Reporting to the McLaren Automotive Technical Training Manager, you will be responsible for delivering technical training, developing engaging training materials, and supporting the global retailer network. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive technology and requires regular national and international travel.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical and non-technical training programmes.
  • Develop and update training materials in line with McLaren brand guidelines.
  • Support new product and technology training development.
  • Deliver pilot training sessions to internal teams and retailer partners.
  • Work closely with Technical, Aftersales, and Training teams.
  • Support McLaren’s global training strategy and retailer network.
  • Ensure training quality standards are maintained.
  • Assist with the upkeep of the training facility.

Requirements

  • Automotive industry experience with strong technical knowledge.
  • Experience delivering training and coaching others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into effective training.
  • CIPD (CTP) or equivalent training qualification preferred.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Mechanical Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
