Join us as Technical Application Engineer! This role can be based anywhere in the UK, with travel to our Measham site.

As a Technical Application Engineer, you will play a key role in translating customer requirements into tailored, compliant solutions. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, supporting façade and firestopping applications across the UK and internationally. You will help ensure solutions are technically robust, standards-compliant, and aligned with Promat’s commitment to technical excellence and customer support.

What you’ll do:

• Provide technical support for façade and firestopping solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Translate customer requirements into practical and technically sound Promat system solutions.
• Support projects throughout the technical case lifecycle, from design clarification and documentation through to after-sales assistance.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and application guidance.
• Respond to technical enquiries from customers, architects, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D, and other internal stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Support the growth of FSI-Promat firestopping solutions in the UK and Promat façade solutions across international markets.
• Liaise with external testing houses, certification bodies, and industry partners where required.
• Ensure technical recommendations are accurate, practical, and aligned with Promat product capabilities.
• Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of technical application processes and resources.
• Support multiple projects and technical cases simultaneously, managing priorities and delivering timely resolutions.
• Help maintain Promat’s reputation for technical reliability, innovation, and application excellence.

• Experience in façade engineering, technical applications, or a similar construction/manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, fire protection, and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and provide practical technical solutions.
• Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach.
