Job description
Working from home and covering customer sites across Belfast and Northern Ireland, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing intelligent parking and access control systems. Your day could involve preventative maintenance at a customer site, remotely diagnosing a fault from your laptop, or carrying out an installation as part of a major project. You’ll be trusted to manage your own schedule while delivering an exceptional service to customers. Initially, you’ll be involved in a major equipment upgrade project with Ulster University, providing an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience with the company’s systems from day one. What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across customer sites.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and networking issues remotely and on-site.
- Installing, commissioning and upgrading parking and access control equipment.
- Responding to service call-outs and providing excellent customer support.
- Managing service records and maintaining van stock.
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing technical advice where required.
- Working closely with the wider engineering and technical support teams to deliver outstanding service.
Requirements
We’re keen to speak with engineers who enjoy problem-solving and customer interaction. You could come from a variety of backgrounds including:
- Field Service Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- IT or Networking
- Electromechanical Engineering
- Installation or Maintenance Engineering
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a field-based engineering or service role.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- A good understanding of electrical, mechanical or IT systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The flexibility to travel throughout Northern Ireland.

- Salary of £32,000, increasing after successful completion of probation.
