Job description
The IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester will support software development efforts using the Mendix platform. This role involves collaborating with business analysts and project teams to design, develop, test, and implement secure, scalable, and user-centered applications in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The position is 100% remote, aligned with Arizona working hours, and is a contract role for approximately three to four months with possible extension. Responsibilities:
- Assist Business Analysts with requirements gathering, system design, application development, testing, and implementation using Mendix.
- Participate in design sessions to enhance operational systems, business processes, and reports.
- Analyze and document current and future-state business processes, including business rules, process flow diagrams, and inter-department workflows.
- Configure and develop Mendix applications including microflows, nanoflows, domain models, UI components, and integrations.
- Prepare and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance within Mendix applications.
- Support pre-go-live testing and promptly address any issues that arise.
- Participate in status calls and meetings with agency clients and internal teams.
- Create and maintain project documentation throughout development, implementation, and transition phases.
- Keep Scrum Master/Project Manager informed of progress, risks, and action items.
- Troubleshoot application issues and assist with defect resolution.

Requirements
- Experience with Low-Code / No-Code platforms, preferably Mendix.
- Ability to work remotely aligned with Arizona time zone hours.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Background checks and drug screenings completed via HireRight.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience using JIRA for backlog management, defect tracking, and sprint planning.
- Experience working as part of a Scrum team including developers, BAs, testers, and product owners.
- Knowledge of SQL Server querying, reporting, and diagnostics.
- Understanding of PCI compliance standards.
- Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong documentation skills.
