Job description

MEDSURETY is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Implementation Specialist to join our growing Implementation team. This position is responsible for supporting the successful onboarding and implementation of employer benefit programs including HSA, FSA, HRA, VEBA, COBRA, ICHRA, QSEHRA, Direct Billing, and related products.

Working under the direction of the Implementation Manager, the Implementation Specialist coordinates implementation tasks, communicates with clients and brokers, configures benefit plans, documents implementation requirements, and ensures new clients experience a smooth and successful transition to MEDSURETY.

This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while delivering an outstanding client experience.

Responsibilities / Duties

¡ Assist with the implementation and onboarding of new employer groups and products.

¡ Serve as a day-to-day implementation contact for assigned clients under the guidance of the Implementation Manager.

¡ Coordinate implementation timelines and ensure project milestones are completed on schedule.

¡ Configure benefit plans within MEDSURETY administration systems according to approved plan designs.

¡ Collect, review, and validate implementation documents, enrollment files, eligibility and payroll information.

¡ Document implementation requirements and maintain accurate implementation records.

¡ Coordinate file testing and validate data accuracy before implementation completion.

¡ Work closely with Sales, Account Management, Eligibility, COBRA, Claims, Operations, and Compliance teams throughout the implementation process.

¡ Communicate professionally with employers, brokers, payroll vendors, and carrier partners.

¡ Educate clients on employer portals, employee tools, implementation timelines, and ongoing administrative responsibilities.

¡ Identify implementation issues early and escalate concerns to the Implementation Manager when appropriate.

¡ Assist with developing implementation documentation, SOPs, and internal process improvements.

¡ Participate in implementation status meetings and project reviews.

¡ Maintain implementation documentation within CRM and project management systems.

¡ Support internal quality assurance efforts to ensure implementation accuracy.

¡ Assist with special projects and product rollouts as assigned.

Requirements

¡ 1-3 years of client service, project coordination, implementation, or employee benefits experience.

¡ Excellent organizational and time management skills.

¡ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

¡ Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

¡ High attention to detail and accuracy.

¡ Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).

¡ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

¡ Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.

¡ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

¡ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Preferred: Experience with HSA, FSA, LPFSA, DCAP, HRA, VEBA, COBRA, ICHRA, QSEHRA, Eligibility Administration, enrollment files, payroll systems, and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
