Job description

The UX Designer will own and elevate the front-end user experience across our ecommerce sites and apps. This role sits at the intersection of design, product, and conversion, partnering closely with our development team., Design and iterate on core ecommerce flows (homepage, PDP, PLP, cart, checkout, navigation, etc) across our Shopify sites and apps -Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma and using AI tooling to help efficiency -Develop mobile first, conversion focused experiences, ensuring seamless usability across devices that drive engagement and sales -Use analytics tools (GA4, Shopify, Microsoft Clarity, etc.) to proactively identify user pain points and opportunities as well as measuring impact of UX changes -Support A/B testing and experimentation alongside our contracted CRO agency to improve user flows and performance -Ensure designs are informed by data, insights, and measurable outcomes -Maintain awareness of accessibility and best in class design practices -Contribute to and help maintain design consistency across digital platforms -Leverage AI tools and systems to support design exploration, iteration, and efficiency while maintaining high quality, on brand outputs -Build and launch marketing pages within Shopify -Make ongoing updates across the sites and apps, including regular promotional changes -Implement front end updates within the Github repository shared with our development team -For larger UX projects: end to end project management of development team including -Outlining clear UX project specs -Strict QA across all digital touchpoints

Requirements

3+ years of experience in UX Design -Shopify web development experience, HTML/CSS knowledge -Experience with high traffic/mobile first sites -Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite -Shopify + Shopify partner ecosystem -Solid understanding of UX best practices -Strong UX portfolio -Experience with AB testing, CRO and analytics platforms -Experience with AI tools to boost UX design and implementation efficiency -Experience with Claude Code and Claude Design, Self-led, analytical thinker who considers long term impact and thrives in a fast-paced environment -Collaborative and clear communicator that fosters trust and alignment across teams -Flexible and adaptable with the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions
