Job description
Collect high-quality first-person motion and video data using a compatible smartphone and a head-mounted camera to help train next-generation AI systems. This contractor role focuses on precise IMU sensor capture, synchronized video validation, and strict adherence to technical protocols to produce reliable training data. Key Responsibilities
- Capture precise motion data using your smartphone during specified physical tasks, including IMU sensor data collection.
- Record synchronized first-person video using a head-mounted camera so both hands are visible, to validate and enhance the integrity of sensor data.
- Use supported devices, specifically iPhone 12 and later, Google Pixel 6 and later, or Samsung Galaxy S21 and later, to produce high-fidelity sensor and video data.
- Follow detailed technical protocols and labeling instructions to meet strict quality and determinism standards.
- Consistently contribute a minimum of 10 hours of approved video data per week for the duration of the project.
- Participate in device compatibility checks and a custom AI-enabled interview process before beginning work.
- Communicate clearly with the project team to clarify guidelines, provide feedback, and ensure timely delivery of required data outputs in line with project milestones., * Engagement type, contractor.
- This is a remote role limited to experts based in the following U.S. states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
- Minimum weekly contribution, 10 hours of approved video data per week throughout the project duration.
- Tasks must be performed from a mobile device, recorded directly on the device using a head-mounted camera setup.
- Participants must complete device compatibility checks and a custom AI-enabled interview before onboarding.
Requirements
- Experience capturing video and working with mobile device sensors, including IMU data.
- Access to a compatible smartphone capable of high-fidelity sensor and video recording, and to a head strap or equivalent head-mounted setup that allows recording both hands.
- Ability to obtain the head strap and be ready to record within 48 hours of the start date.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and adherence to standardized protocols and technical instructions.
- Physical capability to perform repetitive movement tasks safely and accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation.

Benefits & conditions
- Listed pay: $13.00 per hour.
- Actual payment is output-based, experts are paid per recorded video that meets the project specifications, and time to complete work may vary by expert experience and workflow.
- Compensation depends on submission approval against project specifications.
