Sr. Software Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the SalesDraft engineering team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable, high-performing applications using Node.js, TypeScript, React, Postgres, AI/ML, and AWS. You will play a critical role in developing and enhancing the SalesDraft platform, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for our customers. What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Build responsive, user-friendly frontend components with React and TypeScript.
• Design and implement scalable database schemas and queries in Postgres.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Leverage AWS services to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning to improve the codebase and architecture.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the SalesDraft product.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of Postgres, including schema design and query optimization.
• A commitment to learning to use and implement AI.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.

Additional Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance tuning.
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications is a plus.
