Job description

Insight Global is searching for an IT Specialist Mid to join one of our largest federal clients. Responsibilities will include hut are not limited to: -Assisting information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects. -Conceptualizing, designing, constructing, testing, and implementing portions of business and technical Information Technology (IT) solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology. -Interacting with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. -Defining scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects. -Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements. -Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. -Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer. -Participate in business and technical IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement, and conversions. -Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria. -Prepare system documentation. -Establish and maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents. -Analyze, identify and resolve business and or technical problems using appropriate tools. -Participate in special studies and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements

4 YOE in IT

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • IAT Level 2 Certification
  • High School Diploma, Experience in Information Systems (IS). -Specialized experience in a single discipline such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering or legacy evolution. -Must possess an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) network support certification and an Operating System (OS)/Application certification.

Benefits & conditions

$27.00/hr. to $30.96/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
