Job description

The Squires Group is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Data Migration Middleware Developer to support a large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM modernization initiative. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain data migration pipelines and middleware solutions that transform legacy HR data into Oracle Fusion HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL) formats., * Develop ETL and middleware solutions that transform legacy HR data into Oracle Fusion HCM HDL and HSDL load formats.

  • Build data mappings, transformation rules, and validation processes to support agency migrations.
  • Create data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes to ensure migration accuracy.
  • Design scalable batch processing frameworks with error handling, monitoring, and recovery capabilities.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track migration status, data quality, and reconciliation results.
  • Create reusable migration templates and frameworks to accelerate future implementation efforts.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to define data interfaces, migration requirements, and integration specifications.
  • Support mock conversions, production cutovers, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
  • Document ETL designs, transformation logic, operational procedures, and migration processes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong ETL and middleware development experience, expertise in data transformation and integration technologies, and a proven ability to support large-scale enterprise data migration efforts.

This role is based in Ashburn, VA, with occasional travel (up to 25%) as required. Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

  • 4+ years of ETL, middleware, or enterprise data integration experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Informatica, Talend, or similar integration tools.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience developing data transformation and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience supporting large-scale data migrations and high-volume batch processing.
  • Knowledge of data quality management, validation, cleansing, and profiling techniques.
  • Experience working with CSV, XML, JSON, and other file-based integration formats.
  • Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Oracle Fusion HCM or ERP migrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HDL and HSDL.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Informatica, or Talend certifications.
  • Knowledge of federal HR data standards and government migration projects.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM business objects, APIs, and Oracle Cloud technologies.
  • Experience developing migration reporting and data quality dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Prior experience supporting enterprise Oracle Cloud HCM implementations.
