Job description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting the SSP program
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
  • Contribute to full-stack development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines
  • Support system integration, RESTful API design, and containerized deployments
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • js + PostgreSQL - frontend and relational database development
  • TypeScript - strongly-typed JavaScript development
  • Spring Boot - Java-based backend services
  • Go / Java - backend microservices development
  • RESTful API Design - interface design and implementation
  • Docker & Containerization - container-based deployment workflows
  • Agile Practices - Scrum / Kanban software development methodology

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree, plus 3 years relevant experience., CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required., * GitOps (e.g., FluxCD) - automated, declarative deployment pipelines

  • Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) - asynchronous service communication
  • Observability Stack - Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry
  • CI/CD Pipeline Experience - pipeline configuration and automation
  • Kubernetes / Container Orchestration - container scheduling and management
