Telemarketer for AI Model Training

Telemarketers apply their call-based sales and outreach expertise to evaluate and improve AI model outputs for telemarketing and related customer contact tasks. You will use real-world experience to create prompts, assess model responses for accuracy, tone, and usefulness, and deliver concise, structured feedback that helps the model better reflect how telemarketing work is actually done. Key Responsibilities

• Develop prompts that reflect telemarketing scenarios, scripts, objections, and customer interactions.
• Review AI-generated responses for correctness, relevance, tone, and adherence to typical telemarketing practices.
• Provide clear, structured feedback and examples to guide model improvement.
• Record and label outcomes, customer reactions, and edge cases encountered during evaluation.
• Suggest script adjustments and alternative phrasings that target specific customer needs or segments.
• Work asynchronously with external AI teams to complete evaluation tasks and onboarding requirements., * Collecting customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and entering orders into a computer system.
• Explaining products or services and prices, and answering customer questions.
• Recording names, addresses, purchases, and reactions of prospects contacted.
• Maintaining records of contacts, accounts, and orders.
• Answering telephone calls from potential customers who respond to advertisements.
• Delivering prepared sales talks from scripts to persuade potential customers to purchase or donate.
• Following up on customer correspondence by phone or letter.
• Adjusting sales scripts to better target individual customer needs and interests.
• Procuring lead names and telephone numbers from directories, reply cards, or purchased lists.
• Scheduling appointments for sales representatives or customer presentations.
• Conducting client or market surveys to gather information about potential customers.
• Ability to perform asynchronous work and follow remote onboarding and evaluation processes.

Work Terms

• Remote, asynchronous contract role, performed independently.
• Part-time engagement with flexible hours, no minimum weekly commitment required.
• Most contributors average between 5 and 20 hours per week.
• Placement into specific projects depends on project availability; projects are available year-round and open periodically across different areas of expertise.
• Contract status, paid hourly based on the project assigned., * Complete the identity verification step so you can be matched to projects.
• Review available project listings and join onboarding for the projects that match your background.
• Complete project-specific onboarding tasks, then begin asynchronous evaluation work and receive pay for completed assignments.
• If no immediate match is available, your application can be considered for future projects that open periodically.

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in telemarketing, outbound or inbound sales calls, or closely related phone-based customer contact roles.
• Relevant real-world responsibilities may include one or more of the following

• Up to $60/hr (depending on the project).

Eligibility

• F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be able to participate. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. If your school requires enrollment in a CPT course, this program may not meet that requirement.
• STEM OPT is not supported.
• You must hold whatever work authorization is required for independent contractor, remote hourly work in your jurisdiction.
