Job description

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the organization’s HRIS. This position will work with various stakeholders across the organization to support and enhance the HRIS platform, including its Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Workforce Management, Recruiting, and Onboarding modules. This position is also responsible for providing experienced analytical capabilities, defining requirements, and providing services to meet client IT, HR and business needs., * Support/Service Delivery

  • Works with Human Resources, Payroll, and/or vendors to deploy changes, including configuration of the HRIS to meet business needs.
  • Administers and maintains HRIS configuration, including workflows, organizational structure, forms, and system properties.
  • Designs and documents system level, operations level, and end user level procedures to support HRIS processes.
  • Supports the day-to-day requests submitted to the Help Desk for issues and questions related to the HRIS or related applications. Sets up both admin and employee access to the HRIS.
  • Responsible for all mandated federal, state, and local reporting that is not automatically handled by the HRIS.
  • Builds and maintains reports, dashboards, and analytics within the HRIS to support HR, Payroll, Finance, and leadership decision-making.
  • Supports cyclical HR processes within the system, such as open enrollment, performance reviews, and year-end payroll processing.
  • Works with the IT Trainer to help develop and provide feedback on training development.
  • Supports non-clinical technology as the primary admin as requested by the Senior Director of Information Technology.

  • Quality Improvement
  • Recognizes, identifies, and documents potential areas where existing business processes require change, or where new processes need to be developed. Make recommendations/requests for approval as necessary.
  • Assures quality of information through business case and application-level testing; validates test results against initial business needs. Tests HRIS releases and new features per testing script prior to production release.
  • Monitors data integrity across HR, payroll, and benefits records; identify and resolve discrepancies, including data flowing through integrations with third-party systems.

  • Supervision
  • Receives supervision. o Receive supervision from and actively communicate with supervisor on an ongoing basis throughout the week by phone, email, written message and when possible, in person regarding department matters.

  • Risk Management
  • Performs periodic user access reviews and supports audit requests related to HRIS data and security.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive employee information, including compensation, benefits, and protected personal data, in accordance with organizational policy and applicable regulations., + This position requires operating a keypad device 100% of the day and electronic/office equipment 100% of the day. Fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows, legs and feet are all routinely used throughout the day. The upper torso is used 100% of the day. Employee must meet minimum requirements for hearing, speech, and vision. Standing and walking can occur depending on tasks. Sitting happens 100% of the day. Reaching above the shoulder as well as bending and twisting are performed 25% of the day. The maximum lift is 5 pounds, 1-5 times per day. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

  • Education/Credentials/Licensure:
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in information technology, human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance.

  • Experience:
  • Requires one (1) to two (2) years of HRIS technical experience.
  • Dayforce technical experience preferred.
  • Experience in a nonprofit or human services organization preferred.

  • Clearances:
  • State Police
  • FBI
  • Child Abuse Clearances
  • CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training per state regulation., Required
  • One (1) to two (2) years of HRIS technical experience.

Preferred

  • Dayforce technical experience.
  • Experience in a nonprofit or human services organization., Required
  • Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration or related field
  • Bachelors or better in Business Administration
  • Bachelors or better in Information Technology
