Position Summary The Systems Engineer role is critical to growth in our Microsoft, Virtualization and Systems business practices. The Systems Engineer will be a key member of a team that will bring substantial experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise level solutions from Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and others., * Collaborate with customers as well as design/architects and project managers to define the technical requirements needed to design, implement, and manage standards-based IT networks.

• Develop and execute IT implementation plans in coordination with the project team.
• Develop, design and deliver Microsoft Active Directory solutions, Microsoft Exchange Server upgrades and/or migrations, VMWare environments, Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
• Design, implementation and support services related to Microsoft and VMware technologies, including Microsoft Exchange and SQL.
• Respond to post project technical support calls and perform direct follow up with clients.
• Understand each client¿s unique business requirements to develop technology solutions to address those business requirements.
• Assist in conducting on-site surveys and developing detailed network diagrams, bills-of-materials, and scopes-of-work for proposals and technical presentations highlighting our value proposition and superiority of our solution.

• Candidate Requirements: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience working with Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 Server, Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2013 is required
• Current Microsoft and VMware certification (MCSE: Server Infrastructure, Private Cloud, VCP)
• Hands-on, in-depth expertise with Microsoft Windows Architecture - Active Directory (AD), Exchange, SQL Server, Hyper-V.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with various Storage solutions including NetApp, Equalogic, Compellent and HP.
• Expertise with Microsoft Exchange administration and the use of prevailing virtualization technologies is required.
• In depth understanding of supporting technologies: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Anti-Virus, IIS, Systems Management, Optimization Tuning, High Availability configurations
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
• Expert knowledge of the Group Policy and Remote Installation Services
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008 administration
• Experience with any of the following VMware products: VMware ESX(i) Server 4.x, 5.x, Virtual Center, Capacity Planner, P2V Assistant, VMware Converter, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), VMWare View (VDI), and other VMware products.
• Solid understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies including Networking, Security, SAN and NAS, physical datacenter practices
• Solid general understanding of distributed computing conce, including the principles of network routing and client/server technologies
• Must have some general knowledge of system management best practices, scheduling and recovering from SAN array snapshots, complete backup and restoration capabilities
• Experience with documentation for system builds, configurations, support procedures

• Experience with diverse hardware platforms

• Additional Requirements Experience with thin-client technologies, Terminal Services, Citrix Metaframe, VMWare View
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESX, VDI, SRM is preferred
• Experience with Clustering Services / High availability systems is preferred
• Experience with iSCSI based SAN storage (Client Equalogic, NetApp preferred)
• Experience with Backup software such as BackupExec , Arcserve, MS DPM, and various small and enterprise backup solutions.
• Experience with converged networking principals
• Experience with Antivirus programs, Spam Filters, and Web monitoring
• Storage Area Network (SAN) experience including a knowledge of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, CIFS, and NFS protocols is desired
