Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable full-stack applications and API solutions that support connected vehicle platforms, dealer tools, and customer-facing services. Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Full Stack Developer Job Responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React, and cloud technologies. Build and support microservices-based solutions that power connected vehicle platforms, dealer support tools, and customer-facing applications. Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on GCP/AWS while ensuring performance, security, and reliability. Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile development practices to support rapid and high-quality software delivery. Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of Java development experience, including 3+ years of Spring Boot, Microservices, Agile development, and cloud platform experience. Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, GCP/AWS, and frontend technologies such as Angular or React. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tekton), GitHub source control, JIRA, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and building scalable enterprise applications in cloud environments.
