Job description

Associate Information Technology Engineer - F-15 Flight Simulation Location: Berkeley, MO (Onsite) Security Clearance Required About the Role: Join a dynamic team at the forefront of aviation technology as an Associate Information Technology Engineer supporting the F-15 Flight Simulation program. In this hands-on, mission-critical position, you will drive network design, compliance, and systems integration in a collaborative lab environment. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career while working on next-generation avionics systems in a secure, high-impact setting. Responsibilities: - Design and implement network architectures connecting embedded and host PCs on avionics test benches - Ensure compliance with Risk Managed Framework standards across multiple test labs - Install, configure, patch, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments (including RHEL 9) - Support containerization efforts in test environments - Manage Active Directory and file servers

Requirements

including account creation and password resets - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and process-related user issues - Conduct monthly OS patching and anti-virus updates - Run regular backups on workstations and servers Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field - 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or related technical roles - Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (required) - Proficiency with Windows and Linux server environments - Experience administering networks in compliance-focused settings - At least one certification: CompTIA Security+, SCNP, SSCP, GSEC, or CISSP Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with avionics or simulation lab environments - Advanced troubleshooting in complex multi-OS settings - Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - In-depth understanding of network security
